Buildings 250 and 360 and Jordan Hall are three of the buildings on Stanford University’s historic Main Quadrangle. The buildings, built from 1887 through 1891, were designed by Shepley, Rutan and Coolidge, successor firm of the renowned H.H. Richardson.Carey & Co. was the architect for the rehabilitation of each building under three separate contracts. Each project began with programming phases with the end users. The project scope of each building included seismic strengthening, building systems upgrades, sandstone conservation, accessibility, space planning, interior design and sustainable design.
